Format:

Before we dive into the topics, let’s first discuss the format of paragraph writing. The basic format includes an introduction, body, and conclusion.

Introduction:

The introduction should grab the reader’s attention and provide some background information about the topic. It should also include a thesis statement, which is the main idea or point of the paragraph.

Body:

The body of the paragraph should provide supporting details and examples to support the thesis statement. Each paragraph should have a topic sentence that introduces the main idea of the paragraph. The supporting details should be organized logically and clearly.

Conclusion:

The conclusion should summarize the main points of the paragraph and restate the thesis statement in a different way.

By practicing paragraph writing, students can improve their writing skills, express their thoughts and ideas clearly, and develop their creativity.

Cricket is my favourite game. It is very popular. It is played mainly in fourteen countries of the world. A cricket team has eleven players. There are two types of matches. The first is a test match. One side bats. The other side bowls. Then the other side bats. The first side bowls. There are two innings. The other is the one-day match. A one-day match is different. One side bats for 50 overs. Then the other side bats for 50 overs. The side which makes more runs wins the match. The one-day match brings much joy. I enjoy one-day matches. India has a strong cricket team. One-day matches are more famous. A test match goes for five days. But one-day match gives more joy. I like cricket. It is a very good game.
