This activity is a fun and engaging way for students to learn about their Pie Charts. The goal of the activity is to identify the country that is a third of the UK population according to the pie chart.
Instructions:
- Click on the “Start” button to begin the game.
- A pie chart will appear on the screen, showing the populations of different countries.
- Drag and drop the pins to their correct place on the image.
- To identify a country, pin on its slice of the pie chart.
- If you identify the country correctly, green ✓ will appear.
- If you identify the country incorrectly, red ✗ will appear.
- You can keep clicking on countries until you identify the correct country, or you can click on the “Submit Answers” button to see the correct answer.
Tips:
- Look at the pie chart carefully.
- Notice that the pie chart is divided into slices, and each slice represents a different country.
- Think about which country is a third of the UK population.
- Remember that the UK population is approximately 67 million people.
